TEMET Gastight Isolation Valve

Temet's KS Gastight Closing Valves are used in ducts of military, governmental and industrial hardened shelters to regulate airflow, maintain and regulate overpressure, and to give the capability to go to "button up mode". KS gastight closing valves are primarily designed to separate safe air spaces from contaminated air to protect personnel from CBRN and Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC). The valves can be manually, electrically or pneumatically actuated and can be integrated into building management systems for complete automation.

Temet KS Gastight Closing Valve Design Features

Temet's KS Gastight Closing Valves incorporate a light metal alloy body with neoprene gaskets. The valve is comprised of a flap valve which rotates in bearings for low pressure drop and excellent gas tightness. The valve can be locked into any position. All parts of the valve are designed for corrosion resistant via epoxy powder coating, galvanizing or stainless steel construction. KS Gastight closing valves are available standard in various sizes from 100mm to 1000mm.
